Alumni Society Board Celebrates Another Great Year |

The 2008-09 year drew to a close for the Alumni Society Board on June 15 as the group convened for their final meeting and appreciation dinner. In this gathering to wrap up the year, the Board first took care of business, followed by farewells to departing members and then enjoyed dinner and conversation. During the year, the Board created several new initiatives including the Alumni CSO Group, the Alumni Runners Club and an Alumni Family Fun Day in addition to all of the other, regular activities they coordinate.
The 2009-10 school year will bring new leadership as Kim Whittaker Morris ‘92 concludes her tenure as president. Tim Durkin ’93 will serve as president for two years, with Debbie Carlos ’94 serving as president-elect.
The Alumni Society Board welcomes three new members – Deborah Huntzinger Herting ’73, Kevin Palmer ’88 and Meghan McVeigh ’97. “Congratulations and welcome to the group!” Tim Durkin wrote to the new members, “You’re joining at an exciting time for the school as it celebrates its 250th birthday and gears up for an important capital campaign. We have lots of work to do, and will hopefully have a lot of fun doing it.”
