Ethics Society

The Ethics Society meets each Friday at lunch to discuss topics which challenge everyone's moral and ethical beliefs. Discussion is open and free-wheeling, and debate is encouraged. Everyone's opinion is honored and respected. In fact, many questions posed seem to have no right or wrong answer. Ethics Society members pride themselves on being open-minded and interested in challenging preconceived notions rather than simply conforming to traditional thinking. Discussions cover such topics as Social Darwinism, genetic engineering, civil disobedience, answering to higher authority, personal vs.community rights, euthanasia, codes of honor, and the death penalty.
